Let us hear from you!
The Board is always interested in receiving feedback from not only licensed architects and engineers but also anyone working in the architectural and engineering communities on issues affecting our professions. For example, there are a number of resolutions to be acted upon at the upcoming NCARB and NCEES annual meetings on topics such as IDP and sustainable design practice. Please click here if you would like to send the Board a message about these types of issues.

Architect
Registration Examination (ARE) News
Effective September 19, 2007, the Nebraska Board of
Engineers and Architects will allow candidates,
who have completed their accredited degree program and signed up for the IDP
through NCARB, to start taking the ARE. This follows the passage of the
revised Rules and Regulations and a Council vote at NCARB's Annual Convention in Denver to allow consecutive
timing of the ARE and the IDP. Click
here to download the application. Version 4.0 of the ARE will be launched in July 2008. The current format will
be updated and improved by combining graphic and multiple-choice content.
ARE 4.0 integrates the exam format while emphasizing the problem-solving skills
architects regularly use in day-to-day practice. To read more about ARE
4.0 click here.
